Sinister No Prep Racing - Series Rules

Rules

–All races will be “1st round off the trailer” (NO test passes on race day- (Testing can be done a week prior on Friday)

–BURNOUTS: Must be not carried out past the starting line

–Racers may only use water for all burnouts (NO traction compounds)

–CALLOUTS: Permitted first round only. 

- BUY BACKS - Event dependent 

Optional- Second round second chance race.

–STARTING METHOD: Instant green 

–BYE RUNS: If you draw a bye you do not have to make a pass, but you must let organizer know. You can only pull the bye chip once in the event. 

–PAIRING/DRAW:  Random draw (chips), lane assignments determined by the draw.  Bye run cannot be chosen twice.

–CENTER LINE: Crossing the centerline in front of your opponent (before the win light indicates a winner) will result in a DQ. (crossing behind does not DQ, but use your head please!!)  **NO HERO SHIT**

–DOUBLE RED LIGHTS: In the event of a double red light, the generally accepted “first/worst” rule will apply. 

(We will prove first/worst to the racers ONLY, upon request)

–RED LIGHT & CENTER LINE: In the unlikely event that one racer red lights, and the other crosses the center line in front of said red lit opponent, “first/worst” will again apply (example: Most likely, the red light happened first, so they would be out)

All classes - Lock ins -$50 You must lock in to the class you want to run prior to the event. This helps us organize for the day of the event. If the class doesn’t reach the min number of cars required we will not be running that class the day of the event. If a $50 deposit is too much for you then maybe racing was a bad life choice. You may buy in day of but if your class hasnt filled with lock ins it may not be running, You will pay the balance day of the event at the Sinister trailer. All buy in money is 100 percent paybacks to the winners of the classes.

Must have 4 tires

Steel Roof and Quarters 

AWD 17inch rims or bigger and Dot tire 275 or equivalent to 28x10.5 or smaller 

No external weight. No butt hurt bars all weight inside the body lines 

Stock Firewall/ Must have original frame rails to the front spring perch. 

Backhalf allowed after the rear doors.

no tube chassis. 

 Any DOT tires only (Dot drag radials are fine must say dot on the tire)

RWD 28x10.5 - 275/60/15 and QTP 28x11.5

FWD Any Size tire

AWD 100 treadwear or higher 

Stick shift Slicks allowed bias ply tires (28x10.5 or smaller)

-valid license plates and insurance (current )

-working headlights, taillights and turn signals

-NO tube chassis 

-stock style front and rear suspension 

-  Optic Armor windshield and rear glass for cage requirements ok 

- Side windows must roll up and down 

- no exposed metal inside car (except roll cage)

- oem style dash, covered door panels, carpet 

-2 front seats

-working charging and cooling system

- fiberglass/carbon body panels limited to hood/trunk/hatch 

- must have front ends (fenders,hood etc.)

- E85 or Race gas only - No M1 or M5 fuels 

-AWD/4x4 200 treadwear tire 

-Minimum 17" wheels with DOT tires unless your car originally came from factory with smaller.

 - Stick shift car slicks allowed on 17”s

 - factory full glass /Stock suspension

 - full exhaust to the back of the car

 - stock full interior (rear seat delete ok)

 - plates insurance 

 - OEM automatic transmission that came in the car can be built. 

 - must have a/c connected if factory equipped 

- full charging and cooling system 

- Single power adder only 

- No Electrics 

Tailgate - 

 - Anything with a tailgate 

-29.5x10.5w  or smaller 

Sandbagger - (6.50)

 Any tire

- AWD allowed 

- clocks off but DQ if faster then 6.50pass. 

- No electronics, delay boxes or throttle stops etc. trans brake is fine 

Stick shift - 

H pattern 

Must have a clutch 

28x10.5 non W or smaller. 

Frontwheel Drive

-must be front wheel drive 

-27inch or smaller tire 

-No awd
